Nikki Walshaw

Nikki is the joint Director and owner of McLaren Recruitment and recruits across all industry sectors, for roles up to and including Chief Executive and Board appointments.

Nikki and Kirsty date back to school days and having lived, worked and travelled together in the UK, Kirsty jumped on the opportunity to have Nikki join the team when she returned to New Zealand in October 2011.

Nikki has an extensive recruitment background having commenced in the industry in 2004. After spending two and a half years working for an Auckland based global recruitment company, she moved to London where she was employed as part of a managed service solution for Morgan Stanley; a large American Investment bank and latterly as a Commercial/Bid Manager in the recruitment industry.

Nikki is passionate about providing a high quality and consultative service where she is viewed as a trusted advisor to her clients and candidates.

Nikki is our resident ‘foodie’ and can be relied upon to suss out and provide an opinion on the latest newcomers to Wellington’s ever changing food and wine scene. To counter this, she also enjoys regular walks up Mt Kaukau with her Japanese Spitz and chasing after her young son!

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Education), Bachelor of Tourism Management, Victoria University of Wellington
